Math Facts Memory Game

Every pair matches a fact to its answer. Choose addition, subtraction or multiplication and set the largest number to fit your class.

Fact fluency through matching, not timed tests

Timed fact tests build speed for children who already know their facts and anxiety for everyone else. A memory deck gets the same number of repetitions with none of the pressure — players have to compute each fact they turn over to know whether it matches.

Set the largest number low to target a specific fact family, or raise it for mixed review. Multiplication decks work well for the 2s through 12s once children move past skip counting.

Pair a strong and a developing student together. The stronger player naturally verbalises strategies — 'that's a double plus one' — which is exactly the coaching the other child needs.

Frequently asked questions

Which operations are supported?
Addition, subtraction and multiplication, with an adjustable largest number from 5 to 20.
Are subtraction answers ever negative?
No. The generator always puts the larger number first, so answers stay at zero or above.
Can I mix operations in one deck?
Not directly, but you can type a mixed list in the custom generator, for example '9 - 4 | 5'.
